HELLOWEEN, GAMMA RAY: South American, Mexican Dates Announced

German power metallers HELLOWEEN will join forces with GAMMA RAY for the following dates in South America and Mexico:

April 17 - Rio de Janeiro, Brasil - Citibank Hall
April 18 - Belo Horizonte, Brasil - Chevrolet Hall
April 20 - Sao Paulo, Brasil - Credicard Hall
April 22 - Porto Alegre, Brasil - Pepsi Stage
April 24 - Manaus, Brasil - Arena Amadeu Teixeira
April 26 - Fortaleza, Brasil - [to be announced]
April 27 - Recife, Brasil - Chevrolet Hall
April 30 - Lima, Peru - Anfiteatro del Parque de la Exposicion
May 02 - San Salvador, El Salvador - [to be announced]
May 04 - Guadalajara, Mexico - Estudio Cavaret
May 08 - Monterrey, Mexico – [to be announced]
May 10 - City, Mexico - Circo Volador

As previously reported, HELLOWEEN and GAMMA RAY will team up for a pre-ProgPower USA IX festival concert on Thursday, September 25 at Center Stage in Atlanta, Georgia. This marks the first confirmed North American date for the prestigious "Hellish Rock World Tour", which has hit Europe, Asia and Australia so far. Exclusive support for the Atlanta date will be provided by Denmark's MANTICORA.

"It took a while, but we finally got it done. Between this added show and the festival roster, I don't think it gets any better here in the States," stated ProgPower USA promoter Glenn Harveston.

Tickets for the show go on sale March 15 (***Important***: The HELLOWEEN / GAMMA RAY concert is not part of the ProgPower USA IX festival and separate tickets will be needed to attend the gig).

Finland's AMORPHIS was recently confirmed as the second headliner of ProgPower USA IX. America's premiere metal festival returns to Center Stage in Atlanta on September 26 and September 27.

Joining the band are festival headliner ICED EARTH, Florida's JON OLIVA'S PAIN, Poland's RIVERSIDE, Germany's IRON SAVIOR, Denmark's VOLBEAT, Sweden's ANDROMEDA, Florida's ROB ROCK, Italy's ELVENKING, France's SPHERIC UNIVERSE EXPERIENCE, Austria's SERENITY, and Italy's PATHOSRAY.

Tickets for ProgPower USA IX are limited to 900. Advance gold badges are sold out for the seventh consecutive year.
